The Awards Celebration itself will be September 15 at the Galleria in Boston, so get your tickets now. We’ll be proudly sharing our space with the interiors winner, Rachel Reider.
If you don’t know Rachel’s work, get ready to be wowed. She’s not only popular here in New England, she’s been making a national name for herself with an approach that’s both fresh and sophisticated. Her use of color and texture, gives her work a timelessness that’s not easy to pull off. Reider, who works in both residential and commercial arenas, is a name to remember. While her firm is quite busy at the moment, Bill Morton recently had a “Lunch and Learn” (we bring lunch, give an overview of our products, and answer any questions) at her new space in the South End. He was very impressed with Rachel, as well as her assistants Katie and Tricia. “They asked smart questions and had a great energy,” says Bill. “We can’t wait to work together.”
Aside from getting a chance to meet the winners and sponsors, the Awards Gala is also having a unique silent auction. All the winners have designed a rug, produced by Landry & Arcari, which will be auctioned off. The proceeds will benefit Barakat, Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.–based charity promoting education and literacy for women and children in south and central Asia.
