It’s always a huge pleasure to go to New England Home’s Hall of Fame event. Why? Well, firstly, we get to see all the hugely talented people we work with all year long, dressed up and having a good time. Secondly,  Sixty State Street is an absolutely fabulous venue! The windows, the ceilings, the views! You can’t beat this place for a party. Thirdly, the reason we never miss this event is because it’s great fun to honor the well-deserved inductees from our industry.  In fact, we’d like to congratulate all of them: for Architecture, Jacob Albert & John Tittmann, Albert, Righter & Tittmann Architects, Inc., Boston, MA, Marcus Gleysteen, Marcus Gleysteen Architects, Boston, MA, and Douglas VanderHorn, Douglas VanderHorn Architects, Greenwich, CT. For Interior Design: Charlotte Barnes, Charlotte Barnes Interior Design & Decoration, LLC, Greenwich, CT. For Landscape Design: Peter White, ZEN Associates, Inc., Woburn, MA. And for Specialty Design: Lew French, stone mason/artist, Martha’s Vineyard, MA. These people have been doing exceptional work for a lifetime, and we appreciate that.

Lastly, the libations, food and flowers at this event are always perfection. This year Back Bay Shutter Company, Inc. were the Great Giveaway Sponsors. What did we give away? Let’s just say, we’re sorry we couldn’t win! Three lucky people went home with a $2,500 gift certificate to Canyon Ranch, a $1,500 gift certificate to Shreve, Crump, & Low, and a $1,000 gift certificate to Barney’s.

Thanks, again to New England Home. You sure know how to throw a party!
